چکیده

Nowadays the treatment of environmental pollutants such as synthetic dyes (used in multiple industries paper, textile, food, plastic and pharmaceutical) has received much attention, especially for biotechnological treatments using both native artificial enzymes. In this context, many enzymes have been reported to efficiently perform dye degradation. Peroxidase is one enzyme, which causes degradation either by precipitation chemical structure aromatic or opening up their ring structure. present study an extra-cellular peroxidase extracted from a bacterial strain Bacillus sp. F31 JX984444.1 was tested its capability decolorize 16 different used various industries. Out textile decolorized 5 out 4 triphenyl methane (Basic Fuchsin (BF), Rhodamine B (RB), Coomassie Brilliant Blue (CBBG) Malachite Green (MG) showed decolorization 95.5%, 70.8%, 70% 40%, respectively, while polymeric heterocyclic Methylene (MB) 66.2% decolorization. These were studied further enhance after purification optimizing reaction conditions (temperature, time, enzyme concentration, buffer pH, concentration effect salt ions, H2O2 concentration). This indicates that extracellular (purified) can be useful tool (degradation/decolorization) industrial effluents contaminated with harmful dyes.

Biodegradation of Effluents from Dairy Plant by Bacterial Isolates

Micro flora of the effluents from a dairy factory in Tehran(Pegah Dairy Processing Plant) were isolated and screened for their ability to reduce the organic matter content and COD of the effluents. 10 bacteria were selected due to  reduction in COD content from the 4th to 6th day of incubation at 30 °C and  pH =11. Highest COD reduction were obtained by two isolates, BP3...

Decolorization of Malachite Green Dye Solution by Bacterial Biodegradation

Malachite green dye is widely used in food and textile industries for various purposes and also used as biocide in the aquaculture industry to control fungal attacks and protozoan infections. Surface and ground water is contaminated by dyes due to discharge of untreated wastewater from industries. The presence of malachite green in water causes serious health effects such as mutagenesis, re...

Biodegradation and detoxification of textile azo dyes by bacterial consortium under sequential microaerophilic/aerobic processes

Release of textile azo dyes to the environment is an issue of health concern while the use of microorganisms has proved to be the best option for remediation. Thus, in the present study, a bacterial consortium consisting of Providencia rettgeri strain HSL1 and Pseudomonas sp. SUK1 has been investigated for degradation and detoxification of structurally different azo dyes. The consortium showed ...

Phenol biodegradation by bacterial strain O-CH1 isolated from seashore

phenol and phenolic compounds are among the most recognized environmental pollutants which exist in industrial wastewater and enter the biological cycles due to the solubility in water. Bioremediation is one of the cost-effective and Eco-friendly methods for phenol removal. In this study, the most effective phenol-degrading bacterial strain was isolated and identified from the shores of the Oma...

Biodegradation of diesel fuel by an Azolla-derived bacterial consortium.

The widely distributed water fern Azolla was investigated for use as an amendment in the bioremediation of fuel-contaminated environments. In a field experiment Azolla pinnata as well as Pistia stratiotes and Salvinia molesta were applied to plots containing soil that had been surface-contaminated with diesel fuel (2.4 L m(-2)) and flooded with water. The plants quickly died and bacterial flocs...
